jumping back & jumping through
the jump back and jump through is one of the fundamental elements of the ashtanga practice, forming part of every vinyasa. many people find jumping back and jumping through difficult and may practise for years without mastering it or simply not bothering to try. how often do we think "my arms are too short" or "i’m just not strong enough"? in effect, we’ve already given up before we’ve even tried. in this workshop we will explore how to work towards achieving the jump back and jump through by combining various techniques with breath, bandha, foundation and a positive attitude. with a bit of patience, perseverance and effort, anything can become possible!
